Emily's Current Skincare Essentials!!

Hi guys! I’ve had pretty much the same skin care routine for a few years now, so I figured I would share it! I am, however, going to try out a few new products in the coming weeks and see how I like them, so I will definitely make an update about those! For now, here’s my go-to products!

1. Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen (SPF 40)

I am somebody who cannot stand the feeling of sunscreen on my face. That’s why I am so happy that I came across Supergoop! It is by far my favorite sunscreen because it isn’t sticky at all! As soon as I apply it on my face, I literally cannot feel it. It’s really important to include sunscreen as part of your daily skincare routine, so I love that Supergoop allows me to do this without feeling uncomfortable! I HIGHLY recommend this product!

2. Glossier Skin Tint

I most definitely do not apply makeup everyday. In fact, I hardly ever use it. However, on those days when I’m not feeling my best or want something more, I love using Glossier’s Skin Tint. It doesn’t cover up any spots/problem areas on your face so it isn’t foundation or concealer. However, it makes your skin tone even and just adds a little extra to your natural face. It looks completely natural, so once again it’s perfect for your daily skincare routine.

3. Mario Badescu Acne Facial Cleanser

This is the face wash that I have been using since middle school. It’s very gentle, and I think that for the most part it does a very good job. I do occasionally have breakouts, but that’s to be expected at my age. This cleanser does a really good job cleaning my face and it leaves it smooth and soft!

4. Mario Badescu Special Cucumber Lotion

I’m not sure why this product is called a lotion because it definitely is not! It’s a liquid toner and is applied after I wash my face. It helps give my face a deeper clean, and I feel like it does a good job of helping getting rid of any problem areas. Overall my skin just feels refreshed after using this product, and I love it!

5. Tarte Drink of H2O Moisturizer

This moisturizer is pretty light and does not feel too thick on my face. It’s water-based which means that it doesn’t feel sticky when you apply it and it leaves your skin feeling matte! It’s super comfortable and definitely hydrates my skin.
